If you’re really after variety, Velavadar stays ahead blackbucks, wolves, hyenas and a flock of 140+ bird species. Gaurishankar Lake does have some migratory waterfowl and deer, but the sightings are less frequent. After a day at Velavadar you could stay at Iscon The Fern Resort & Spa in Bhavnagar to rest before heading back. What time of year are you planning to visit?
