If you’re looking to squeeze in a quick stop, a 20 minute walk from the museum takes you straight to the tea house in Padmapuram Gardens, where you can grab a quick refreshment before heading to Katiki Waterfalls. The bus to the falls leaves roughly every half hour, so you’ll still fit the trip into your six hour window. If time is tight, a cab to Borra Caves will get you there faster, but the bus schedule is fairly regular. After the waterfall, you could head back to the museum and finish up before catching your next train. If you need a quick break, the USHODAYA RESORTS is just a kilometre from the museum and offers a comfortable spot to relax.
