If you’re looking for a quieter start, the Japanese Garden’s night lighting is lovely. After that, a short walk to Sukhna Lake lets you catch the sunset before heading to the Golden Temple, which will be less crowded later. If you want a quick rest before the temple, a stay at Tulip Inn Zirakpur is only eight kilometres away and has a good rating.
