A shared taxi will usually leave once a few people have boarded, so if you arrive early you might get a quick start. A private hire gives you the freedom to stop at the tea stalls about 2 km before the falls, which can be handy if you want to stretch or grab a snack without waiting for others. If you’re only after a quick visit, a private ride is often worth the extra cost for that extra flexibility.
