A quick 15 minute bus from Pathankot Railway Station takes you straight to the fort’s bus stand. If you’re staying at Best Western La Vista Pathankot, the bus stop is only a few kilometres away and the route passes the Shahpur Kandi Barrage, which is a good spot for a river shot before you reach the fort. A phone camera will capture the stonework fine; a small tripod can help steady shots of the barrage.
