From the bus stop a local service to Kannur takes roughly 15 minutes; once there a short auto or shared taxi will drop you near the hotel. After the temple visit, the old Kannur Fort area is free to wander and gives a quick glimpse of local history before heading to Payyambalam Beach for a sunset walk.
