If you’re heading from Pathankot Railway Station, the 15 minute local bus 112 is the quickest way to the fort’s bus stand. On the route you’ll pass the Shahpur Kandi Barrage a good spot for a river shot and a small roadside tea stall where you can grab a quick snack before the walk to the fort. A phone camera works fine, but a lightweight tripod can help steady shots of the stonework. If you’re staying nearby, the Best Western La Vista Pathankot is just a few kilometres away and offers easy bus access.
