A good plan is to start around 5:30 am to catch the first light on the carvings, then pause near noon for a break and a quick change of lens. After lunch you can walk the quieter paths until about 7 pm when the light softens again. If you’re near Theni, staying at the Le Shiv Executive Suite gives you easy access to the site.
