A quick way to cover most of the sights is to start at Deoria Tal around sunrise the drive from Ukhimath is about 30 km and takes roughly an hour. From the lake you can head straight to Chopta, only 10 km away, and spend an hour or so in the pine forest and at the viewpoint. Chandrashila would require a 3 to 4 hour trek each way, which would eat up most of your day, so it’s safer to skip it if you only have a single day. If you’re staying near Ukhimath, the Humming Bird By Aaryam is a convenient base to return to the temple in the evening.
