If you’re staying at Vishnu Lok near the station, you can drop the kids off right next to the train platform and then hop on a quick 10 minute taxi or the local bus to Simtola. The bus leaves about every 15 minutes, and the first departure after 6 pm tends to be less crowded, so if you want a quieter ride aim for that slot. This keeps the family together and cuts the extra luggage handling you’d have to do at the main bus stop.
