Which hotel is best for a weekend stay near Chhatbir Zoo?

Parth Randhawa · 7 hours ago ·6 replies

I’m planning a quick weekend near Chhatbir Zoo and need a place to stay. The zoo is open 24 hours and free entry, so I can arrive at any time. Radisson Chandigarh Zirakpur is only about 2.8 km away, while Tulip Inn Zirakpur is around 3.1 km. Both are in Zirakpur and have good reviews, but I’m not sure which is more suitable for a short stay. Any suggestions on which hotel would be better for a weekend visit, considering proximity, price, and amenities?

Radisson Chandigarh Zirakpur is a bit closer at 2.8 km and offers a 4.5 star rating, so you’ll spend less time commuting. It also has a free breakfast buffet that can help you stretch the early morning zoo visit. If you’re looking for a quieter stay with a higher rating per review, that might be the better pick.

Since Radisson Chandigarh Zirakpur is only 2.8 km away and has a 4.5 star rating, it’s the quicker option for a weekend stay. The free breakfast buffet is a nice perk for early zoo visits, and the higher review score suggests a consistently better experience compared to Tulip Inn’s 4 star rating. If you value proximity and a top rated stay, Radisson is the safer pick.

Tulip Inn Zirakpur has a 24 hour front desk and a free parking lot that most guests find handy when arriving late from the zoo. The rooms are slightly larger on average than at Radisson, which might make a quick overnight stay a bit more comfortable. If you’re looking for a quieter, slightly more spacious option close to the zoo, that could be the better pick. TravelIndiaDeals may earn a commission if you book through this link.

If you’re aiming for the quickest commute, the Radisson’s 2.8 km distance means you’ll spend less time on the road and can hit the zoo early. It also offers a 24 hour front desk, so you can check in after a late night at the zoo without waiting.
