Quickest way to reach Jangareddygudem from Rajahmundry Airport with limited time?

Soham Shinde · 17 hours ago ·6 replies

I have a few hours to spare and need to get to Jangareddygudem. The town is 24‑hourly open and has free entry, but I’m not sure how fast I can get there from Rajahmundry Airport. Do you recommend taking a cab, or is the bus from the Jangareddygudem Bus Stand a viable option? Also, is there a direct train from Rajahmundry Railway Station that would be faster?

The bus from Rajahmundry to Jangareddygudem runs every hour, and the ride is about 35 40 minutes. It’s cheaper than a cab, but you’ll need to catch a specific departure time. If you’re in a hurry, a taxi can get you there in roughly 30 minutes, and you’ll avoid waiting. If you’re staying in Rajahmundry, the MANJEERA PREMIER is a good spot to check local bus schedules.

The local bus to Jangareddygudem leaves Rajahmundry every hour, so you just need to line up with the next one. If you’re on a tight schedule, a taxi will get you there in about half an hour and skips any waiting. There isn’t a direct train from Rajahmundry to Jangareddygudem, so you’d have to rely on the road options.

The nearest bus stop is at the Rajahmundry Bus Stand, about 5 km from the airport. Buses to Jangareddygudem leave roughly on the hour, so you can catch one right after landing if you arrive early. The ride takes around 35 40 minutes, so you’ll be there around 10 12 minutes past the bus time. If you want to avoid the wait, a quick taxi from the airport takes about 30 minutes and costs a bit more, but it’s more convenient if you’re on a tight schedule.

If you’re already near the airport, you can hop into a taxi and get to Jangareddygudem in about 30 minutes, which is faster than waiting for the hourly bus. The bus takes roughly 35 40 minutes but you’ll have to line up with the next departure. If you’re staying in Rajahmundry, the MANJEERA PREMIER is a convenient spot to check the bus timetable and grab a quick ride.
