Quick 2‑hour plan for Qila Mubarak with limited time

Dhruv Patel · 4 weeks ago ·19 replies

Qila Mubarak is open all day, so I can start right when I arrive. I’d like to see the museum, catch the panoramic view of Bathinda, and maybe stroll through the Rose Garden which is only 3 km away. After that, a quick walk to Chetak Park could round off the visit. What is the best way to fit all this in a two‑hour slot?

If you’re staying at Hotel Krishna Continental, you’re already a short walk from the Rose Garden. From there you can hop a quick bus or taxi to Chetak Park, which is about 1.5 km away. The museum and the panoramic view are within the same block, so you could spend roughly 30 40 minutes at each spot and still finish before the two hour mark. Just keep an eye on the clock and you’ll make it all in time.

You could leave Qila Mubarak right after the museum, then walk straight to the Rose Garden it takes roughly thirty minutes and you’ll get a good view of the city along the way. From the garden, a short 15 minute stroll brings you to Chetak Park, where you can finish your round without rushing. This keeps the whole loop under two hours.

If you’re staying at Hotel Krishna Continental, you’re already a stone’s throw from the Rose Garden. From there you can walk straight to Chetak Park in about fifteen minutes. The museum and the panoramic view are on the same block, so a quick 20 minute stroll will let you see both before heading back to the hotel. This keeps the whole loop comfortably under two hours.

If you’re staying at Hotel Krishna Continental, you’re already within a kilometre of the Rose Garden. From there you can walk straight to Chetak Park in about fifteen minutes, then hop back toward Qila Mubarak for the museum and panoramic view. A quick 20 minute stop at the museum and a 10 minute walk to the view point will keep you on track for a two hour loop.

A quick way to squeeze everything in is to walk straight from Qila Mubarak to the museum, then head to the panoramic point right beside it. From there take a short taxi to the Rose Garden it’s about 3 km but a ride takes only about 10 minutes. After a quick stroll through the garden you can walk the final 1.5 km to Chetak Park; the park is close to the city center and you’ll finish in under two hours if you keep each stop to about 20 25 minutes.

If you’re staying at Hotel Krishna Continental it’s only a kilometre to the Rose Garden, so you can walk from the museum straight to the garden in about 15 minutes, then stroll the 1.5 km to Chetak Park. That keeps the whole loop under two hours while giving you a quick stop at the panoramic point right next to the museum.

The museum sits right next to the panoramic viewpoint, so you can hit both in about 15 20 minutes. From there, a quick taxi to the Rose Garden takes only a few minutes, giving you a relaxed 20 minute walk through the blooms before heading to Chetak Park on foot, which is about 1.5 km away. This keeps the whole loop comfortably under two hours.

If you’re staying at Hotel Krishna Continental, you could grab a local motorbike for a quick ride from the museum straight to the Rose Garden. That cuts the walk to a few minutes and lets you spend a full 20 minutes strolling the blooms before heading on foot to Chetak Park. It’s a smooth way to keep the whole loop under two hours.
