Planning my first visit to Guhana Malle – what activities should I plan?

Kunal Adhikari · 11 hours ago ·6 replies

I’m heading to Guhana Malle for my first visit and want to make sure I hit the right spots. The place is open 24 hours and free to enter, which is great. I’m curious about the best activities – I love nature walks, bird watching and photography. Also, are there any nearby attractions that make a quick day trip worthwhile?

If you’re staying near the Gajuwaka area, the Super Townhouse Gajuwaka Near CMR Mall is just under a kilometre away and offers easy access to the local market stalls great for spotting bird feeders and street level wildlife that you can photograph right off the pavement. A quick walk from there takes you to the municipal park where early morning walkers set up bird watching blinds, so you can combine a nature walk with spotting a few local bird species before heading back to the park’s shaded paths for some sunset shots.

If you’re near Guhana Malle, a quick walk to the Visakhapatnam Zoo is worth it it’s open early, has a good bird collection, and the paths are great for nature shots. The zoo is about a 15 minute drive from Super Townhouse Gajuwaka Near CMR Mall, so you can easily combine a morning walk with a quick visit to the animal enclosures.

If you’re staying near the Gajuwaka area, consider heading to the nearby Visakhapatnam Beach early in the morning. The long sandy stretch is great for sunrise photography and there are often small bird colonies along the dunes that you can spot without a guided walk. It’s only a 10 minute drive from Super Townhouse Gajuwaka Near CMR Mall, so you can combine a beach stroll with a quick bird watching session.

If you’re staying at Super Townhouse Gajuwaka Near CMR Mall, you could finish the day with a short drive to the Jagadamba Centre. It’s a local hub that hosts small art stalls and street food stalls where you can catch evening bird activity around the water filled tanks. The walk from the centre back to the hotel is only about a kilometre, so you’ll have plenty of time for a sunset photo or a quick snack before heading back.
