How do I get to Thakkar Bapa Smarak from my hotel nearby?

Sagnik Gautam · 4 weeks ago ·19 replies

I’m staying in a hotel close to the Thakkar Bapa Smarak memorial in Ranchi and need a quick way to reach it. The place is open 24 hours and free to enter, but I’m not sure which transport is most convenient from my hotel. I know there’s a bus stand and a railway station nearby, and cabs are available in the city. Could anyone advise on the best way to get there, and whether a cab or a bus would be faster for a short distance?

If you’re staying at FabHotel Amaltas, the memorial is less than a kilometre away. Walking takes about 10 minutes and skips any waiting time. A local bus from the nearby bus stand usually runs every 15 20 minutes and is quicker than hailing a cab for such a short hop. The cab would still be fine if you prefer a direct ride.

If you’re at FabHotel Amaltas, the memorial is under a kilometre away. You could hop on the local bus that leaves the nearby bus stand every 15 20 minutes it usually takes about 10 minutes. A cab would be a direct ride and might cost a bit more, but the distance is so short that the bus is usually quicker because you avoid waiting for a driver. Do you know which bus number runs that route?

If you’re staying at FabHotel Amaltas, the memorial sits just under a kilometre away. The nearest bus stop is the one at the city bus stand, and bus number 12 runs that route every 15 20 minutes. The walk takes about ten minutes and avoids any waiting for a cab. If you prefer a direct ride, a short cab trip will cost a few rupees more but saves the walk.

The bus stop for route 12 is just outside the city bus stand, so you can hop on right away. The fare is a few rupees, and the ride takes about ten minutes. If you prefer not to wait, a short cab hop would still be only a few minutes but costs a bit more.

Since you’re at FabHotel Amaltas, the memorial is just under a kilometre away. The city bus stand is only a short walk from the hotel, and bus number 12 runs that route every 15 20 minutes. It takes about ten minutes on the bus, so you avoid any waiting for a cab. If you prefer a direct ride, a short cab hop would only add a few minutes but cost a bit more. Have you checked if the bus stop is right outside the hotel or if you need to walk a bit to reach the city bus stand?
