Couple route to see Wagah Border and nearby spots in Amritsar

We’re a couple planning a quick trip to see the Wagah Border ceremony and a few nearby sites. What would be a practical route that starts at the border, catches the sunset parade, and then takes us to places like the Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, and the Partition Museum? We’re thinking of heading out after lunch to hit the ceremony in the evening. Also, should we book any cab in advance or can we grab one on the spot from Amritsar Bus Stand?
