If you’re already near Lonavala Lake, the 5 km walk to Duke’s Nose is quick and free. The viewpoint is best in the late afternoon when the light hits the Ghats. A short detour will give you a panoramic photo of the valley and a nice break from driving. Afterward, you could head back toward the town and maybe drop by the Elite Hotel for a quick refresh before heading to Mumbai.
