If you’re staying at hotel Anupam Residency you can simply walk the ten minutes to the gardens. A good spot to sit is under the large banyan tree near the water fountain it gives a bit of shade and a nice view of the city lights. Since the kiosk only sells bottled water, a reusable bottle is handy. You might also grab a small sandwich from a nearby bakery before you head up.
