If you’re staying near the city centre, a single local bus ticket from the Panjim bus stand will drop you close to both Old Goa and Fontainhas. The buses run every 10 15 minutes, so you can hop off at the Fontainhas stop, walk to the church, then catch the next bus to the beach. Staying at a place like WelcomHeritage Panjim Inn puts you only about 650 m from the bus stop, so you can keep the transport cost to a single ticket.
