The falls sit just outside the village of Kakule, and locals often say the water is blessed by the ancient Kamma spirits. A small stone shrine nearby is believed to be a site where the Kamma tribe once performed healing rites. If you’re staying in Guntur, Treebo Abhi Suites is only a few minutes away and many guests mention spotting the shrine on a walk to the falls.
