Start early from your base, head to Saraswati Wildlife Sanctuary first the drive takes about an hour from Rishikesh. Inside, the kids will enjoy the visitor centre and the easy walking trail that loops past the river, where you can spot deer and birds. After a quick lunch, drive north to Rajaji National Park; the main entrance is about 45 minutes away. Spend a couple of hours on a short jeep safari or a walk through the forest. Finally, head back south to Rishikesh for a relaxed evening; you might stop at ArtBuzz Rishikesh for a casual coffee before heading home.
