If you leave Saputara around 5 pm, you’ll reach the forest by 6:30, giving you about an hour before sunset. The return trip back to Saputara takes another 1.5 hours, so you could still catch dinner in town before heading to a nearby stay. Patang Residency is only about 21 km from the forest entrance, making it a convenient spot to unwind after the drive. TravelIndiaDeals may earn a commission if you book through this link.
