Suheli Par vs Agatti Island: Which to choose with limited time?

If you only have a day, you could start by flying into Agatti Airport and grabbing a cab to the island. From there, a quick boat ride to Suheli Par is doable about 36 km out. The beach time will be worth the travel, but you’ll miss the chance to see the historic Minicoy Lighthouse or try kayaking on Bangaram. So plan the boat trip early, then head straight to the pristine shores.

You could hit Suheli Par first thing in the morning to beat the boat traffic, then return to Agatti for a quick climb of the Minicoy Lighthouse before you head back. The lighthouse gives a good overview of the surrounding atolls and the sunset over the lagoon is pretty striking. Just remember to leave enough time for the 36 km boat ride in both directions.
