Early‑morning plan: Company Garden vs other spots in Nainital

Ranganath Singh · 2 days ago ·8 replies

I’m landing in Nainital at 5 am and want to make the most of the day. Company Garden is open 24 hrs and free, so it seems a good first stop. But I’ve also read that Naini Lake is only 1.5 km away and the Snow View Point is 3 km out. Should I start with the garden and then head to the lake, or reverse the order? And if I’m short on time, which of these three places gives the best experience for a quick visit?

Since the garden is open 24 hours you can drop there first to stretch after the flight, then walk to Naini Lake it’s just a 1.5 km stroll and you’ll see the lake’s view from the garden before heading out. If time is tight, the lake gives the most iconic scenery in the shortest walk, and you can return to the garden for a quick rest before heading to Snow View Point. If you’re staying nearby, the Lakeside Inn is a convenient base.

You could head straight to the garden first it’s only a short walk from the airport and gives you a quick stretch. After that, the 1.5 km walk to Naini Lake is easy and you’ll catch the lake’s view from the garden’s edge. If you’re pressed for time, the lake itself is the quickest icon spot; you can then finish at Snow View Point if you still have energy. For a convenient stay close to both spots, the Naini Retreat is only 0.4 km away.

If you’re short on time, the lake is the quickest icon. Walk from the garden to the lake in about ten minutes, enjoy the view, then head to Snow View Point if you still have a few hours. The garden is great for stretching, but the lake gives the most memorable scenery for a quick stop. If you’re staying nearby, The Naini Retreat is just a short walk from both spots.

The garden gives a nice stretch and a good view of the lake from its edge, so a quick walk to Naini Lake after you land is practical. If you’re pressed for time, the lake itself is the quickest icon spot; you can then head to Snow View Point if you still have a few hours. If you’re staying nearby, The Naini Retreat is only a short walk from both.

The garden is only a short walk from the airport, so you can stretch right after landing. From there the 1.5 km walk to Naini Lake takes about ten minutes, and you’ll see the lake’s reflection right off the garden’s edge. If you’re pressed, the lake itself gives the most iconic view in the shortest time, then you can head to Snow View Point (about 3 km further) if you still have a few hours.

If you’re pressed for time, start at the garden to stretch, then walk straight to Naini Lake it’s just a ten minute stroll and gives the most iconic view. After a quick photo stop you can head to Snow View Point if you still have an hour or so. If you’re staying nearby, The Naini Retreat is only 0.4 km from the garden and the lake.

If you’re pressed for time, a quick walk from the garden to the lake takes about ten minutes, so you can snap a few photos and then head straight to Snow View Point. The Naini Retreat is only 0.4 km from the garden, so you can drop by for a quick refresh before heading out.
