What is the weather like at Techno Park in Kohima during October?

Sujay Contractor · 2 days ago ·8 replies

I’m planning to visit Techno Park in Kohima in October and want to know the typical weather conditions there. The park is open 24 hours and sits near the Kohima War Cemetery and the Nagaland State Museum. Since October is listed as one of the best months to visit, what kind of temperatures, rainfall, and cloud cover can I expect during that time? Also, would the nearby Dzukou Valley or Japfu Peak have similar patterns?

In October the average temperature around Techno Park is about 18 22 °C, with occasional cooler mornings. Rainfall tapers off from the heavy monsoon months, so you’ll see a few showers but generally clear skies. Cloud cover is moderate, giving a pleasant mix of sun and clouds. The patterns are similar in Dzukou Valley and Japfu Peak, though the higher elevation there keeps temperatures a degree cooler and can bring mistier mornings. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay nearby, Niraamaya Retreats Aradura Kohima is a good option.

October brings mild mornings and evenings around 18 °C to 22 °C at Techno Park, with light showers that usually clear by afternoon. The valley gets a bit more mist, and Japfu Peak stays about a degree cooler, so bring a light jacket. Is there a particular time of day you’re hoping to visit the park?

A good place to stay is Niraamaya Retreats Aradura Kohima it’s only about 2.1 km from Techno Park, so you’ll have a short walk to the park, the War Cemetery and the State Museum.

You’ll likely see temperatures stay in the low to mid teens Celsius, with a few brief showers that clear by late afternoon. Cloud cover usually stays moderate, so mornings can be misty but afternoons become sunnier. The higher elevations of Dzukou Valley and Japfu Peak will keep the temperatures a degree or two cooler, and the mist can linger longer. If you’re staying nearby, Niraamaya Retreats Aradura Kohima is only a short walk from the park.
