When is the best time to visit Ramakrishna Beach while staying nearby?

Varun Modi · 3 days ago ·9 replies

Hi all, I’m staying close to Ramakrishna Beach and wondering which month gives the best weather for beach activities. Given that October is listed as a good time, would the weather still be comfortable for water sports and sunset viewing? Also, are there any nearby attractions like the Submarine Museum or Kailasagiri that are worth visiting in the same trip? Finally, do you think the beach is crowded in October compared to other months?

October is still warm enough for water sports, but the sea can be a bit choppy right after the monsoon. Sunsets are usually clear and you’ll have a good chance to catch a nice view. The Submarine Museum and Kailasagiri are just a short drive away, so you can add them to the same day. Crowding is lighter than in December, but the beach can get busy on weekends. If you’re staying nearby, Hotel The Supreme is a convenient option. TravelIndiaDeals may earn a commission if you book through this link.

You can usually catch good water sports around 10 11 am when the sea is calmer after the monsoon. The sunset view from the beach is often clear in October, but evenings can be a bit windy, so bring a light jacket. If you’re staying near the beach, Hotel The Supreme is a convenient base and its location makes it easy to hit the Submarine Museum or Kailasagiri in the same day.

October’s temperatures are still warm enough for water sports, but the sea can be a bit choppy right after the monsoon. A light jacket helps for the breezy evenings when you’re watching the sunset. The Submarine Museum and Kailasagiri are only a short drive away, so you can hit both on the same day. If you want a nearby stay, Hotel The Supreme is within a kilometer of the beach.

October is still warm, but the sea can be a bit choppy right after the monsoon, so plan water sports for mid morning when the waves settle. The sunset is usually clear, though a light jacket helps against the breeze. If you’re staying near the beach, a quick drive gets you to the Submarine Museum and Kailasagiri in the same day. The beach is less crowded than December, but expect a bit of traffic on weekend evenings.

October’s average daytime temperature stays in the mid 20s, so you’ll feel warm enough for water sports. The sea can still be a bit choppy right after the monsoon, so plan activities for mid morning when waves calm. Sunsets are usually clear, but a light jacket helps against the evening breeze. If you’re staying near the beach, Hotel The Supreme is a convenient base and its location makes it easy to hit the Submarine Museum or Kailasagiri in the same day.

Mid morning, around 10 a.m., is usually the calmest for water sports after the monsoon. The Submarine Museum is about 7 kilometres away, so you can hit it and Kailasagiri on the same day. If you’re staying close, Hotel Winsar Park is a short drive from the beach.

If you want a slightly quieter spot, Hotel Winsar Park is a short drive away and still close to the beach, so you can hit the Submarine Museum and Kailasagiri in one day without the weekend crowds.
