A good plan is to leave Bhubaneswar around 6 am. First stop at Dhauli Giri; it’s less crowded before sunrise. Then head to Lingaraj Temple, which tends to fill up by mid – morning, so aim for 10 am there. Finally reach Khurda Fort around noon when it’s calmer. You can hop on a local bus or take a shared auto from the main bus stand – they run every 15 – 20 minutes and are cheaper than a private hire. Keep a bottle of water and a light snack, and you’ll have a smooth, packed day without too many crowds.
