Hey all, I’m planning a short trip to the Qutb Minar in September and would love some advice. I know the minar is a 73‑metre tall tower that’s open all day, 24 hours. I also heard there are a few other historic spots right around the site, like the Iron Pillar of Delhi and Quwwat‑ul‑Islam Mosque. Since September isn’t listed as one of the best months, I’m curious: what’s the best time of day to visit the Qutb Minar to avoid crowds or heat? Also, are there any other nearby attractions or activities that make a full day worthwhile? Any tips on a good route or must‑see spots would be great!
Try to get there before 9 a.m. The crowds thin out and the heat is lower, especially in September. After the Minar, walk to the nearby Qutub Ki Masjid and the Iron Pillar. From there you can stroll through the Mehrauli Archaeological Park and finish near the Lotus Temple. That makes a full day without rushing.
