What’s the weather like at Vijaynagar Village in September?

Paramjit Vaz · 1 month ago ·19 replies

Is the weather still good in September at Vijaynagar Village? I’m staying nearby and want to plan my day. The best time to visit is listed as November to February, so I wonder if September is still suitable. Does the monsoon bring heavy showers or is it mild?

September is still a decent time to visit Vijaynagar Village. The monsoon has usually tapered off by then, so you’ll see some showers but they’re usually short bursts rather than heavy, continuous rain. The temperatures stay warm, around 28 30°C, and the humidity is a bit higher than in the peak winter months. If you’re staying nearby, it’s a good idea to keep a light raincoat handy and plan outdoor activities for the early afternoon when the skies are clearer.

If you’re looking for a place to relax after a short walk around the village, the TSG Grand is only about four hundred metres away and has a nice garden area that stays dry even during the brief showers. It’s a good spot to unwind with a drink while you wait for the sky to clear.

You could head to the beach around 10 am when the skies are usually clear. The water stays warm and the wind is gentle, so it’s a good window before the afternoon showers that sometimes come in the late afternoon. If you want a quick break, the TSG Grand’s garden stays dry even when the sky clouds over.

September’s showers are usually short, so you can still hit the beach around 10 am when the sky is clear. If you need a dry spot to wait it out, the TSG Grand’s garden stays dry even when clouds roll in. A light raincoat and a good schedule for early afternoon walks should keep things comfortable.

If you’re up for a short walk, the Hornbill Nest Resort is only about a kilometre away and its garden stays dry even when clouds roll in. It’s a good spot to stretch your legs and grab a coffee before the afternoon showers.

A quick check of the local weather patterns shows that September is still quite pleasant for beach time. The sea temperature stays around 29 °C and the wind is usually light, so you can enjoy a morning walk on the shore before the first afternoon shower. If you need a dry spot to wait out a brief rain, the TSG Grand’s garden area stays dry even when clouds roll in.

If you’re hoping for a quieter beach walk, try heading out around 9:30 am the sky is usually clear then, and the sea stays warm at about 29 °C. After that, a quick stop at the Hornbill Nest Resort’s garden can keep you dry until the afternoon showers roll in. That gives you a comfortable window for a short walk before the rain starts.
